Get off the forums, child, and grow yourself a brain. Ever is it that you would like to place the blame on others, ever think it was your own indifference or inaction. Nope, blame it on the tankers. You want a few people with wildly unpopular ideas speak for tankers as a whole. Can you really not see how shortsighted you are? It's ok, I already think very little of you as is. Kind of a ironic really, don't you think? When the pendulum had swung the other way and AV was overpowered all AV players were blamed and called out rather then a vocal few. Not accusing you personally but just an observation.
I wanted and called for Tanks/AV to be rebalanced pre 1.7, as I do with all roles that have no place or are UP, and yes it is CCP that makes the final decision, but they don't do it without paying attention to collected data and the current state of the forums. I easily noticed more tankers just calling complaints about the Tank/AV balance QQ or finding it funny rather then Tankers actually calling for balance. In fact I can probably count the number of tankers on my hand that don't enjoy the current balance and are vocal about it.
So please, your statements and insults are wasted; if Darkens comment and my like thereof offended you then perhaps you should "get off the forums, child." and take things less personally. Darken was referring to the most vocal and cowardly of tankers on the forums along with those who spam blaster tank after blaster tank with no care of how imbalanced it currently is; not those who see said imbalance and speak up about it. He could have worded it to imply this better but really, did him not doing so get your blood boiling so? Do I wish this situation in which all of a role are blamed rather then the few was different? Absolutely. However I also wish everyone didn't see Assaults as COD players who wanna kill everything with an AR, Logi's as FotM chasing slayers, Etc.

I'm glad it was something verbose, rather than a short F you. I've been on the forums a while now, and yes. It get's my blood boiling when someone calls out tankers as a whole (given the context of how he said it). And I have good reason. If you would click my name and just go back and read a few of my posts, you would know all too well I'm one of those tankers that called for some true balance. Be prepared for some heavy reading though. And far too often I've watched what I consider very well thought out and constructive feedback fall off the face of the forums (mine and others) in lou of the tankers with ******** ideas so unpopular that they would garner far more attention. Yes I know the forums well. Everyone reads the bullshit posts, of just a paragraph, but get into some serious discussion and NOBODY is interested. So yeah fella, my blood does boil when people call my role out, as I've put a lot of my personal time and effort into actually providing "real" feedback calling for balance.
Then I'll reiterate, don't take it so personally. Darken was probably referring to the very vocal and most know tankers rather then the few tankers, yourself included if you are to be believed, that call for balance and are constructive about it. Should he have worded it better or mention you tankers that aren't among the cowards? Perhaps. However you should have just had enough pride in yourself for not being biased like those he refers to and not let your blood boil, you aren't among those it is directed towards. It would have been much better to passively and calmly mention not all tankers are cowards, rather then get agitated and use insults.
Also +1 for proper use of verbose.
